Kasango, born Kasmario Thulani Ike Fankis on September 21, 1991, in Welkom, Free State, South Africa, is a distinguished DJ and music producer celebrated for his contributions to Afro House and Deep House music. He began his musical journey at 16, drawing inspiration from South African House DJs like Black Coffee and DJ Kent. His 2021 single "Osama" with Zakes Bantwini achieved significant success, charting at number 1 on the South African Radio Monitor (RAMS) chart for 12 consecutive weeks and earning a 4× Platinum certification.
